Pelvic Floor Conditions
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles at the bottom of your pelvis. These muscles work to provide support to organs, resist intra-abdominal pressure, maintain continence, and perform sexual functions. The rectum, urethra, and vagina all pass through the pelvic floor. Dysfunction in pelvic floor muscles can affect any or all of these structures leading to conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain, and organ prolapse. Pelvic Floor Muscle Therapy treats the root cause of these conditions, restoring confidence and improving overall quality of life.
