Dry Needling

Targeted Treatment for Pain Relief

Rehab faster with this innovative technique for targeted pain reduction. Dry Needling treatment involves inserting a small gauge needle into the muscle to release painful trigger points. This deep tissue targeting allows for significant improvement in pain and movement, that may have taken longer to achieve with different treatment options. It is called “dry” needling, because there is no liquid that will be passing through the needle like when you receive a shot. Since the needle is smaller than hypodermic needles, most patients do not feel it being inserted. Dry Needling is usually used in conjunction with other therapy treatments to speed up recovery. Results are often seen in 1-4 visits.

“I had my doubts about Dry Needling when it was suggested that I try it for my chronic headaches, but boy was I wrong! I couldn't believe how quickly it began to decrease the intensity and frequency of the headaches. Combined with the exercise and stretching Ethan gave me, I feel like I finally have control over my headaches and don't have to just keep taking pain meds.”
